The JV sailors earned another conference victory against Wyoming Wednesday night, 80-56. In a game postponed in a crazy weather week, the sailors were able to gain traction throughout the contest and ultimately pull away from Wyoming to get a convincing victory. Battling snow days and canceled practices, the sailors started slow defensively and took time to get their footing. The game remained close throughout the first half as the sailors were unable to get the stops needed defensively. Leading 35-29 at half, the sailors made adjustments and used a 25-14 advantage in the 3rd quarter to pull away from a scrappy Wyoming team. Once again, the sailors shared the basketball and spread out the scoring. Leading all scorers was Tyler Krosschell with 21 points and Ethan Smith added 12 points as well. Sailors are scheduled to play again Thursday night at Thornapple Kellogg, 5:30pm to round out the first trip through conference play. Sailors are now 5-0 in conference and 10-2 overall.
