With all the canceled games, the sailors enjoyed getting back on the court Monday afternoon. In a rescheduled game, the sailors rounded out the first round of conference play with a 69-32 victory at TK. Clayton DeHaan, Houston Wildeboer, Easton Raak, Joe Mass, and Tyler DeWeerd brought some energy to get things going after a slow start to the game. Trailing 5-0, the sailors regrouped and went on a 27-0 run to take a commanding lead halfway through the 2nd quarter. Leading 36-13 at half, TK came out of half with great energy and outscored the sailors 13-10 in the 3rd quarter. The sailors once again regrouped and outscored the Trojans by 17 in the final frame to get the convincing win. Sailors were led in scoring by Tyler Krosschell with 23 points and Joe Maas connected from deep 3 times to finish with 11 points. Sailors improved to 11-2 on the season and 6-0 in conference play. Sailors play next at Forest Hills Central on Thursday night in a non-conference game.
